Local Hazards Survey
The City of Rancho Cucamonga and Rancho Cucamonga Fire District are currently working to prepare a Local Hazard Mitigation Plan, or LHMP and a Community Wildfire Protection Plan, or CWPP. These plans will identify threats from wildfires and other natural and human-caused hazards in our community, and will recommend specific strategies and actions to proactively decrease these threats before disasters occur. Adoption of these plans make the City eligible for mitigation grants, such as those made available through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). These grants could help the City implement the strategies and actions identified in the LHMP and CWPP to reduce future risk.
Both the LHMP and CWPP will help create a safer community for residents, businesses, and visitors.
We thank you for taking the time to complete this short survey. Your responses will help us better understand the hazard concerns you have as a member of our community.
