The City’s Engineering Services Department provides various parking management services and permits for residents and visitors who seek to utilize City parking facilities or on-street parking on a daily or monthly basis.
Short-Term Rental
Short-term rental is allowed in Rancho Cucamonga when the resident obtains a permit and meets the operating requirements. The purpose of the permit and operating rules are to minimize impacts for neighboring residents, whether it be from noise, parking, or other nuisance activity. The location must be the permanent, regular residence of the host.

The Environmental Programs section is responsible for the management of waste diversion programs, including the Construction and Demolition Diversion Program, commercial recycling, commercial organics and food waste, residential recycling and green waste, management of the solid waste franchise agreement, the City's Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility, sharps collection program, used oil and filter recycling program, beverage container recycling program, and the storm water

Recycling can help your business’s bottom line by identifying inefficient consumption and waste disposal. Diverting recyclable material from your regular trash may also reduce your disposal service expenses because disposal costs for recyclables are lower than for trash.
Police Department
Since incorporation in 1977, law enforcement services in the City have been provided through a contract with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. Rancho Cucamonga continues to be one of Southern California's most family-oriented, safe, and prosperous cities.
Homelessness Information and Resources
The City of Rancho Cucamonga has taken a number of steps to address homelessness and is currently developing a comprehensive homelessness strategy in collaboration with social service providers and community partners. This effort aligns with the formation of the COAST Team and complements the ongoing work of the Solutions Oriented Policing and HOPE Teams to provide holistic support and solutions for those experiencing homelessness.
