With the growing popularity of e-bikes and other e-conveyances, the City of Rancho Cucamonga is taking proactive steps to promote safe riding habits and protect our community. The newly adopted E-Bike Ordinance No.1039 addresses increasing concerns about unsafe riding, collisions, and property damage in public areas. To help prevent accidents, it’s important to choose the right e-bikes that fits the rider’s age, skill level, and physical ability and to always follow traffic laws.

AB 2234 requires a local agency to compile a list of information needed to approve or deny a post-entitlement phase permit. Additionally, the local agency is required to post an example of a complete, approved application and an example of a complete set of post-entitlement phase permits for at least 5 types of housing development projects, as defined, in the jurisdiction, as specified, and to make those items available to all applicants for these permits no later than January 1, 2024.

Short-term rental is allowed in Rancho Cucamonga when the resident obtains a permit and meets the operating requirements.  The purpose of the permit and operating rules are to minimize impacts for neighboring residents, whether it be from noise, parking, or other nuisance activity.  The location must be the permanent, regular residence of the host.

There are various types of special districts in the City: Street Lighting Districts, Landscape Maintenance Districts, Community Facilities Districts, an Assessment District, a Benefit Assessment District, and a Park and Recreation District.
