The Rancho Cucamonga Fire District is proud to announce the delivery of the cutting-edge Rosenbauer RTX Electric Fire Engine. The Rancho Cucamonga Fire District is embracing the future by becoming the third agency in North America to take delivery of an electric engine. The electric fire engine supports the City of Rancho Cucamonga's efforts to be a sustainable community and prioritizes first responders' health and safety. The electric engine will be housed at Fire Station 178, located on Town Center Dr.

On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, Rancho Cucamonga Fire District staff and the City Council / Fire Board celebrated the opening of its latest fire station with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting ceremony. Fire Station #178 is centrally located within the City of Rancho Cucamonga at 10595 Town Center Drive and Terra Vista Parkway.
