Due to increased fire danger, the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District will be implementing a closure of Snowdrop/Santina Street over the 4th of July holiday. The closure is being implemented under the authority of the Fire Chief pursuant to Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District Ordinance FD-057 to provide for public safety and prevent the ignition of a wildfire due to dangerous fire conditions and past use of illegal fireworks in the area by non-residents. The closure is effective from 12:01 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2022, through 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022. A violation of this closure is punishable by a fine of $1,000. Residents who reside on Snowdrop/Santina Street, property owners, and their guests are exempt from the closure.
