NOTICE OF UPCOMING VACANCIES

THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA 

COMMUNITY PARKS AND LANDSCAPE CITIZENS' OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE

 

The Rancho Cucamonga City Council invites individuals to apply to serve on the Community Parks and Landscape Citizens' Oversight Committee.  Currently there are three (3) terms expiring April 5, 2026. The Community Parks and Landscape Citizens' Oversight Committee provides oversight of the revenues received in certain of the City’s LMDs through the review of annual financial audits for any LMD that is mandated to have oversight by the Committee. Districts Committee Cover: LMD’s 2 (Victoria), 4-R (Terra Vista), 6-R (Caryn Communities) and 7 (North Etiwanda), PD 85, LMD 1, SLD 2. Applicants must be a registered voter, 18 years of age or older and a resident of the City of Rancho Cucamonga residing and owning property within any district under the oversight committee. To confirm you own property in one or more of these districts (LMDs 1, 2, 4- R, 6- R, and 7; SLD 2; and PD- 85), check your property tax bill, or visit https://www.cityofrc.us/your-government/special-districts to view maps of the district boundaries. The Community Parks and Landscape Citizens' Oversight Committee meets at least once and up to four (4) times annually in fulfillment of member responsibilities. Applications must be submitted by 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 25, 2026.  For questions call the City Clerk Services Department at (909) 774-2023. The City will contact successful candidates for an interview. This is a voluntary committee with no compensation and is subject to financial disclosure filing.
