$4 Million Funding Request
Total Project Estimate: $19.6 Million
This project will replace and modernize Fire Station 171, the city’s first and oldest fire station, to address operational, space, and security limitations while expanding the facility by 45%. The upgraded station will support additional staffing, enhanced emergency response capabilities, and the Fire District’s growing operational and community needs.
Construction of the station will allow for the addition of a second medic squad to respond to low-acuity calls, increasing the availability of engines and trucks for critical emergencies.
