Give your garden and landscaping a little extra TLC this fall with FREE compost and mulch!

The City of Rancho Cucamonga is hosting a multi-day Compost & Mulch Giveaway to help residents improve soil health, conserve water, reduce weeds, and keep their landscaping looking its best!

Stop by Civic Center Drive at Haven Avenue from Tuesday, October 20 through Friday, November 13, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to pick up your free compost and mulch.

A few things to know before you go:

  • This is a self-serve event. Please bring shovels, bags, tarps, containers, and gloves. Participants are responsible for loading their own materials, so consider bringing a friend or family member to help!
  • Compost and mulch are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Pickups are limited to one cubic yard of material (approximately five standard trash bags) to help ensure more residents can participate. Commercial trailers and vehicles are not permitted.
  • This giveaway is open to Rancho Cucamonga residents only. Proof of residency is required.
