Join us in honoring loved ones during our open to the public Community Ofrenda, on display on the Courtyard Stage from October 27 through November 1 in celebration of Día de los Muertos.
Community members are invited to visit the ofrenda, reflect, and contribute by providing copies of photos of loved ones to be displayed. Photo copies (no originals, please) may be dropped off beginning October 22 for inclusion in the initial installation. All photos can be dropped off at the Lewis Family Playhouse Box Office (12:00PM-5:00 PM Tuesdays through Fridays). If you would like assistance setting up your display on the ofrenda, please arrive between 3:00PM and 7:00PM on any day between October 27th and November 1st. Please note that we cannot guarantee the ability to return displayed items, which is why photo copies are required.
We welcome your participation in helping create a shared space of remembrance and celebration.
Community Guidelines
• Photos must be no larger than 8.5 x 11 inches
• Copies only – no original photos
• Flowers are welcome; no glass containers
• No food offerings
• No open flame
• If you plan to collect your photo after the ofrenda is taken down, please provide your name and phone number at drop off
• All photos intended for pickup must be collected by Friday, November 6
• Donations or items placed on the ofrenda cannot be recollected
