Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Rancho Cucamonga has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020/2021 Fall Playschool program. While we know this is disappointing, we hope you can understand the steps we’re taking to help keep our Playschool participants, parents and staff safe.
Designed for teens in grades 7 - 10 who are interested in gaining work experience and community service hours through volunteerism.
Coalition members will have the opportunity to gain on-the-job training, develop leadership skills and make a positive impact on the community.
Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside City employees from multiple departments to develop mentorships and gain real life job skills. Interns will receive additional training on interviewing skills, resume-writing, college applications, and more.
Participants will receive training from certified American Heart Association Instructors. Participants will receive a babysitter's manual, hands-on CPR and Pediatric First Aid Certification, fun and engaging activity ideas and more.
