The Green Business Recognition Program showcases the sustainability efforts of your business and encourages green business practices throughout the community.
All Rancho Cucamonga businesses* are encouraged to apply. Participation is free and easy! To be considered for recognition, follow these three easy steps:
Step 1: Complete the Green Business Program checklist by checking off all the green practices that apply to your business. You must complete all the required practices in each category and have at least 10 to 30 practices depending on the size of your business. The categories are:
Step 2: Complete at least one no-cost resource assessments for energy, water, or waste. The contact information for each type of assessment is available on page 4 of the checklist. These assessments will identify ways to use fewer resources which reduces cost and will even let you know about available rebate programs.
Step 3: Submit your checklist electronically OR Mail, Email, or Fax a hardcopy to: Deborah Allen, Management Aide, City Manager's Office, 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730. Once the City has received your checklist, schedule a site visit with a friendly City staff member who will go over the checklist with you for verification.
