What is Accelerate?

Accelerate is the City's online portal service to help you apply for a permit, track it's review, request inspections, view inspection results, and pay applicable related fees.

Is there a Mobile Device Version?

The Mobile Device Version ( offers a convenient way to schedule inspections & view their status, and you can also track the status of your record from initial application through to completion.

How do I get help?

If you need help setting up or accessing your Accelerate user account, you can review the provided online resources (FAQs and Help) or call (909) 477-2700 during business hours and ask the Operator to transfer you to one of the counter staff who will provide concierge assistance.

Do You Have Permits from before May 29, 2014?

If you were associated with a permit application, plan check, or permit case/record processed before May 30, 2014 by the Building & Safety, Engineering, and/or Planning Departments, then you might wish to link them to your Accelerate user account.

To request to have them linked you must:
  1. Create your Accelerate user account and after creating your account
  2. Complete and submit the Link Existing Cases/Records form
