Funeral Services for Rancho Cucamonga City Council Member Sam Spagnolo

On behalf of the City of Rancho Cucamonga City Council and Fire Board, as well as the Spagnolo Family we would like to thank the public for your condolences and outpouring of support following the passing of City Council and Fire Board Member Sam Spagnolo.

Sam dedicated his life to public service and was a pillar in our community. To honor and remember the positive impact his work has had in Rancho Cucamonga, the Spagnolo Family is welcoming the Rancho Cucamonga Community to attend his funeral services along with his family and friends.

Funeral Services for Sam have been set for Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic Community (9135 Banyan St., Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91737).

Sam Spagnolo passed away on Monday, May 2nd at the age of 80. The City of Rancho Cucamonga and Fire District continues to share our condolences and unwavering support to the Spagnolo family as they grieve his passing. As a reminder, in lieu of flowers, the Spagnolo family is requesting donations in his honor be sent to the Rancho Cucamonga Firefighters' Association (RCFA), where the funds will be distributed to the causes he held close to his heart, including 9/11 Memorial Park and St. Jude. To donate, send a check made out to RC Firefighters Benevolent Fund and in the memo denote “In honor of Sam Spagnolo” to RCFA, 9259 Archibald Ave., Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730.
