Kitten Nursery Set to Debut in Rancho Cucamonga

Spring has sprung and that means KITTENS!  Each year, the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Center receives over 600 underage kittens that require around the clock bottle feeding and critical care.  While we have worked hard to place most of these kittens in loving foster homes until they are old enough for adoption, we have struggled with finding enough experienced foster homes to raise our most delicate population of animals.

We are excited to announce that our foster care program is expanding to include a 24 hour critical care kitten nursery with the goal of giving all of our underage kittens a second chance.

It is anticipated that the nursery will open in early May and will provide refuge to kittens 1 day old to 8 weeks old, allowing them to grow, thrive, and ultimately be placed in an adoptive homes.  This program is funded through the generous donations of our supporters and is truly a community effort.
