2014 Toy Drive a Success Thanks to Our Community!

With YOUR help and support, Rancho Cucamonga Firefighters were able to provide toys to 3,125 children in our community this holiday season!

Thousands of toys were collected at all Rancho Cucamonga fire stations, as well as six City facilities and an additional 15 local businesses and schools partnered with us as collection sites.   An additional $1,300 in cash donations were collected and used to purchase toys for age groups where toy donations fell short.

Toys were distributed to six National Community Renaissance (National CORE) affordable housing apartment complexes in the City as well as two Northtown Housing Corporation properties. RC Firefighters also assisted 17 additional organizations including State Preschools as well as various non-profit organizations such as Foster care agencies and youth ministries.

Firefighters partnered with the RC Family Resource Center to register more than 100 families as toy recipients as well as continued our partnership with Calvary Chapel of Rancho Cucamonga to handle the logistics of distributing the toys to those families.

THANK YOU, Rancho Cucamonga, for your donations and support of the Spark of Love Toy Drive!
