4th Annual Furry Friends Festival and Pet Walk-A-Thon

Don't forget, the 4th Annual Furry Friends Festival and Pet Walk-A-Thon is tomorrow from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.  Due to inclement weather conditions expected (it's gonna be a windy day), we are making a slight move from the grassy event area outside Quakes Stadium to inside the stadium. 

We may also make a slight change to the walk route, but never fear, the festival will go on as planned.  A little wind won't keep us down and we hope it won't keep you from having a great day with us.

Follow the signs and get your pets ready for their very own Pet Walk-A-Thon.  Registration for the walk is open from 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. and is free to attend; however participants are encouraged to create a personal fundraising team or join an existing team at www.Firstgiving.com/RCPets/FFF or bring funds raised the day of the event.  All walkers will receive a Furry Friends Festival bandana for their pet; donations of $10 will receive an RCPets Pet Waste Bag Holder; and donations of $50 or more will receive a T-Shirt.  In addition, the following incentive prizes are offered for top fundraisers:

·      Top Individual Fundraisers:

o     1st Place: True Emotions Photography Package ($250 value)

o     2nd Place: Bath & Body Works Basket ($100 value)

o     3rd Place: $40 Dave & Busters gift card and $10 Powercard

·      Top Team Fundraisers:

o     1st Place:  4 tickets for the Lewis Family Playhouse, $50 Kings Fish House gift card, and four $25 Best Buy gift cards

o     2nd Place: Hooters 10 person Wing Party

o     3rd Place:  Hooters 10 person Wing Party

If you do not have a dog, don’t despair, walk a shelter dog from our Rent-A-Dog station.  For a $10 donation, you can give one of our shelter dogs a great time and maybe find your perfect match at the same time.  If you are looking to adopt, get ½ off the adoption fee of any dog featured at this station.  That’s right; the adoption fee is ONLY $50 and if you adopt your rental dog, your rental donation will be applied towards the adoption fee.

From 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. have a delicious pancake breakfast hosted by the Rancho Cucamonga Fire District for only $5.  In addition, after the Pet Walk-A-Thon, join us for  the festival featuring a vendor fair, “Kids’ Corner” (with bounce houses, games, and other fun activities), pet contests, and live entertainment from:

·    Agile Paws Dog Sports

·    Daves Disk Dogs

·    Frequent Flyer Xtreme Gymnastics

·    Outa the Blu Classic Rock Band
