Be a Good Neighbor - Don't Use Fireworks in RC

Meet Sirius, a retired military K-9 who proudly served alongside Sgt. Joshua Ashley who was killed by an IED in 2012 during Operation Enduring Freedom.  Sirius wants to remind you that pets and veterans can be extremely sensitive to the loud noise of fireworks.  Please be a good neighbor and refrain from using fireworks this 4th of July!

As a reminder, ALL fireworks are ILLEGAL in Rancho Cucamonga.  Anyone in possession of illegal fireworks may be fined $1,000. Fire and law enforcement officials will be patrolling neighborhoods this 4th of July, and confiscating fireworks as well as issuing citations.

AMNESTY PROGRAM:If you have fireworks in your possession, you may voluntarily surrender them prior to the 4th of July to the Fire District without any penalties or fines.  For more information, call the Fire District's Administration Office at (909) 477-2770.

REPORTING FIREWORKS: If you see fireworks activity in your neighborhood, call the Sheriff's Department dispatch center at (909) 941-1488.
