Florida 5

Meet the Florida 5! They were in Florida animal shelters that were destroyed when Hurricane Michael hit the Panhandle region. Local shelters in Southern California worked together to give 100 dogs a second chance for adoption.  These dogs had already been living in shelters in the Panama City area prior to the hurricane.  When it ripped through their towns destroying homes and businesses, it also destroyed some of the local animal shelters.  Florida shelter staff had to work to find places for them to go, so they could make way for the new displaced pets coming to them for help.

We were honored to help and welcomed Lady, Rhino, Milo, Bailey, and Trooper to the RC Animal Center family.  They stayed with us for a two week quarantine period so we could make sure they were healthy and ready for adoption.  They became available on 11/7/18 and that very day both Bailey and Trooper found their forever homes.  If you are in the market for a new furry friend, please stop by and meet Rhino, Lady, Milo, or any of their other RC Animal Center friends.
