Strong Santa Ana Winds Expected Thru Friday

Santa Ana winds are expected to grow even stronger and continue through Friday. The strong winds and low relative humidity create dangerous fire weather conditions. As a precaution, the Fire District has issued a closure order for the North Etiwanda Preserve as well as the access road into Cucamonga Canyon. The closure order, effective immediately, remains in place until 6 a.m. Saturday, December 9th.

RCFD has sent multiple crews to area fires and have backfilled all station assignments. Please be vigilant during this Santa Ana wind event.
