Plan to Attend the Green Business Forum on 8/17

The US Green Building Council (USGBC)-LA), Inland Empire Branch along with the City of Rancho Cucamonga will host a Green Business Forum, taking place at The Frontier Project in Rancho Cucamonga on August 17, 2017. The Forum includes several speakers presenting various paths on how to become a “certified green business”. The purpose of the event is to bring together businesses in the Inland Empire who are interested in becoming green, those who already made strides towards success, and those who continually aim to improve their environmental sustainability efforts. 

The mission of the USGBC-LA, Inland Empire Chapter is to provide educational opportunities including support for Inland Empire businesses in their future environmental sustainability, economic success, and quality of life plans. The Forum speakers are Adrienne Luce, Designing Futures Foundation and Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at HMC Architects will talk about how environmental sustainability plays an important business role; James DiCamillo, President of WLC Architects, will talk about how they become a green certified business through a city run program; Jo Fleming, Executive Director of the California Green Business Network will discuss the green business certification program through the State; and Holly Hill with Verdical Group will speak about how to becoming a Bcorp, and the advantages of doing so. The Forum intends to foster a discussion of green business in the Inland Empire and our collective efforts on this journey.
