Volunteers needed to count and survey homeless throughout San Bernardino County.
This effort helps to secure government and private grant funding and other resources for local communities to assist those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homelessness Volunteers should include anyone who would like to help alleviate homelessness, including social service providers, educational institutions, faith-based organizations, local businesses, civic/nonprofit organizations, neighborhood associations, and current and formerly homeless individuals.
Point-In-Time Count has been postponed to Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Volunteers must attend a training session where safety guidelines will be discussed and to learn how to use the Survey 123 mobile application. A “smart” phone/device will be needed to conduct the count/survey
Training will be able available:
- In person (with hands on technical assistance)
- in a virtual meeting with a Power Point and instructions for the mobile application
