Martin Isenberg has spent nearly two decades as an in-demand bassist in New York’s jazz scene, but The Way I Feel Inside turns inward, drawing from his own life and evolution as an artist.

The performance reflects a path shaped by early loss, creative exploration, and personal change. Released in 2023, the album at its center was created during a period of major transition, as Isenberg reexamined his life and identity.

Blending storytelling with music, The Way I Feel Inside explores how moments of disruption can lead to clarity, connection, and a deeper sense of self.
