Water Conservation

Arbor Lane MedianThe City of Rancho Cucamonga maintains 528 landscaped sites including 31 parks and 140 miles of landscaped parkways, paseos, and median islands. The Parks and Landscape Maintenance group has developed an integrated approach to water resource management that includes measures to both conserve water and actively increase the supply of potable water available for other uses. This integrated approach utilizing water efficient design standards, increased use of recycled water, and daily monitoring, along with the highly trained personnel responsible for its implementation, conserves precious water resources and ensures residents and visitors continue to enjoy their beautifully landscaped public spaces.
