Computer Classes

Both libraries offer free classes covering a variety of computer-related topics. To sign up for a class, call the library on the day of the class to reserve a seat.

Public Computers

Computer use is free for our library patrons. All you need to use a computer is a Rancho Cucamonga library card and less than $5 owed on your Library account.

Our computers have Microsoft Windows 7, Office 2013, CD-ROM & USB capability, & headphone-capable audio. You can use up to 2 hours of computer time per day at each library.

Children's and Teen Computers

Patrons under 18 may use the tech center computers at both libraries with a signed parental consent form.

At the Archibald Library, there are computers in four locations:

  • Tech Center has 16 computers with MS Office and Internet access.
  • Express - 2 computers that can be used for 15 minutes at a time, with MS Office and Internet access (located just outside the tech center).
  • Teen Scene has 3 computers for teens ages 13-17, with MS Office and limited Internet access.
  • Children's has 3 computers for kids ages 12 and under, with MS Office and limited Internet access.


During busy times you may reserve the next available tech center computer by using the self-reservation station at the Archibald Library or by checking in with the tech assistant at the Paul A. Biane Library.


Printing is available at both libraries. Costs are $.10 a page for black and white and $.50 a page for color.  

Mobile printing is also an available option. Send prints to the library using your internet connected device.
