Cultural Arts Night

Please join us at Local History Night on Friday evening, June 30th from 7-9 pm at the Biane Library located at Victoria Gardens!  This year Rancho Cucamonga Library Services will present an exciting evening with a focus on Rancho Cucamonga’s history, and The Big Read for The Call of the Wild.  


It will include:

  • Live music by Silverados Band
  • Storytelling by Sunshine Storyteller Ina Buckner-Barnette
  • Big Read Keynote speaker Robert Stradley’s “Mush for Gold” program which brings Jack London’s The Call of the Wild to life with a visit of Team Quest Racing sled dogs
  • Vintage Fire truck display
  • RC Animal Center display
  • Genealogy session – “Discover Your Family Tree” will include history about Jack London’s family tree
  • Book signings by local authors David Allen - Getting Started and Robert Landau - Rock n’ Roll Billboards of the Sunset Strip
  • Educational lecture/discussion about The Call of the Wild by Chaffey College professor Charles Williams
  • Displays by local history groups
  • Crafts and activities for children of all ages
