Engineering Services Department

Welcome to the Engineering Services Department at the City of Rancho Cucamonga.

The Engineering Services Department strives to ensure Rancho Cucamonga has the vital infrastructure in place to maintain its standing as the premiere community in the region.  This involves managing the engineering design and construction of capital improvements, reviewing land development and construction activity as it relates to public infrastructure, conducting traffic engineering, and managing environmental programs in support of this goal.  In addition, the Department manages the effective and efficient operation of the City’s own subcompact electrical utility.

All services provided by the Department are always accomplished with customer service in mind. The Department’s staff strives to integrate community concern into each of the projects managed and reviewed.  With each new development, the Engineering Services Department has been here to assist developers and the general public with their development plans, questions and concerns.

The Department strives to serve the community with the best customer service possible. If you have any questions, concerns or comments, please contact us.
