One's Plus

Specially designed for the one year-old who is able to walk. Children will be introduced to basic early learning skills involving socialization and motor skills. Class must meet a minimum of 15 children and their parent.

  • One's Plus students must be age one (1) by August 1, 2017.

Terrific Two's and Two's Plus

Designed for the two-year-old who is ready to meet twice per week. This is not a parent participation class. Class provides an opportunity for children to socialize with other children with one instructor and one aide. Class must meet a minimum of 15 children. Participants must be potty trained.

  • Terrific Two's students must be age two (2) by August 1, 2017.
  • Two's Plus students must be age two (2) by February 1, 2017.

Thrilling Three's and Three's Plus

Introduction to early learning such as colors, numbers, letters, art activities, music and outdoor recreation. Classes meet twice per week and must meet a minimum of 20 children with one instructor and one aide. Participants must be potty-trained.

  • Thrilling Three's students must be age three (3) by August 1, 2017.
  • Three's Plus students must be age three (3) by February 1, 2017.

Fabulous 4's and Preppy 5's

As the child progresses, so does the program. Children can grow and learn together as they prepare for kindergarten. This class participates in Playschool Graduation at the end of the year. Class must meet a minimum of 20 children. This class has two options: Option 1 - meets twice per week, Option 2 - meets four times per week.

  • Fabulous 4's students must be age four (4) by August 1, 2017. Preppy 5's students must be age five (5) by August 1, 2017 or starting Kindergarten in Fall 2018.

Ready Readers

An early reading class for four and five year old students. They will be exposed to early reading and writing skills and will begin to grasp the concept of reading by the end of the program. It is not intended that children will be reading or writing fluently upon completion. Class meets once a week for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Class must meet a minimum of 12 children.

  • Ready Readers students must be four (4) by August 1, 2017.

Child must be able to separate happily from parent/guardian. Children should be able to sit without touching, bouncing, squirming, or interrupting for periods of at least 20 minutes. In addition, children should meet the following qualifications:

  • Fluent in understanding and speaking English
  • Can write first name without assistance.  Knows how to hold a pencil and has some degree of dexterity and coordination while using it for writing.
  • Has partial to full recognition of the alphabet.  When shown a particular letter, can recognize it easily.
  • Be able to go the entire class without a trip to the restroom.
  • Participants should be able to recognize colors, shapes, symbols, numbers, and can work with scissors comfortable.

Letter Learners

Children develop letter recognition and focus solely on the alphabet.  Class must meet a minimum of 12 children.  Class meets once a week for fifty minutes.

  • Letter Learners students must three (3) by August 1, 2017.

Child must be able to separate happily from parent/guardian.  Children should be able to sit without touching, bouncing, squirming, or interrupting for periods of at least 20 minutes.  In addition, children should meet the following qualifications:

  • Can communicate effectively in English

Math Learners

This 50 minute class will focus on early learning math skills such as; number identification, patterning, grouping, graphing and sorting and one to one correspondence. Class must meet a minimum of 12 children. Child must be able to separate happily from parent/guardian. Children should be able to sit without touching, bouncing, squirming or interrupting for periods of at least 20 minutes. In addition, children should meet the following requirements:

  • Math Learners students must be three (3) by August 1, 2017
  • Can communicate effectively in English
