IncredABLES Classes

Through partnerships, collaborations and reasonably priced classes, the City of Rancho Cucamonga is proud to offer a variety of recreational and social opportunities for residents in our community with developmental, learning and physical disabilities.

The following classes are offered periodically throughout the year.  If you have specific questions regarding class availability, registration deadlines, etc., please contact Registration Staff at (909) 477-2765.

Arts & Crafts

Location: Goldy Lewis Center | Instructor: Richard Morris           
Learn how to paint, draw and create different arts and crafts. Material fee: $10.

 

Martial Arts/Kung Fu 

Location: Goldy Lewis Ctr | Instructor: Anthony & Michelle Maxwell 
Proper techniques in martial arts and kung fu. Bully defense included. Beginning and Intermediate classes offered. Material fee: $72 for first-time students.

Gymnastics

Location: Precision Gym | Instructor: Precision Gymnastics           
Parent/Guardian participation is required. Gymnastics classes will emphasize flexibility, gross motor skills, muscular strength and endurance, social skills, and coordination. Participants will learn gymnastics on obstacle courses, foam filled pit, trampoline, balance beams, uneven bars, floor exercise and vault. Precision gym located at 9518 9th St., Suite B in Rancho Cucamonga.

Self Defense For Women & Girls           

Location: Goldy Lewis Center | Instructor: Michelle Maxwell           
This defense class is designed for special needs girls and women to learn simple techniques to help prevent, or in the event of an attack, fend off an attack. Material fee: $72 for first-time students.

Star Performers 

Location: Brulte Senior Center | Instructor: Richard & Pat Morris 
Learn songs, practice dance skills and perform at special events. Material fee: $20 costume fee due at first class.

Tap

Location: Goldy Lewis Ctr | Instructor: Anne Marie Dunn 
Tap techniques combined with a variety of contemporary dance styles.

Polynesian Hawaiian Dance

Location: Goldy Lewis Ctr | Instructor: Kini Sabio 
Students will learn the basics and fundamentals of Hula and Tahitian dancing while taking a tour of the Polynesian Islands. Dress comfortably.
