The Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care and Services Department provides Field Services for the City of Rancho Cucamonga.  Our officers respond quickly to the community’s animal law enforcement and rescue concerns.  Our services include:

  • Capturing vicious or dangerous animals, or animals posing a traffic hazard
  • Rescuing stray sick or injured animals, or abandoned animals
  • Investigating cases of animal cruelty or neglect
  • Picking up confined stray animals
  • Investigating barking and other nuisance noise complaints
  • Picking up stray and wild deceased animals
  • Providing assistance to the police and fire departments

If you need help with an animal-related emergency, call (909) 466-7387 and press 1 to reach Field Services Emergency Dispatch.  For all non-emergency related calls, please call (909) 466-7387 ext. 2083 or e-mail to reach a Field Services staff member. An officer is available from 8 am to 5 pm, seven days a week.  After hours, officers will respond to emergencies only (calls about animals in danger, or animals posing a danger to humans).
