The City has launched a Green Business Recognition Program to recognize and reward Rancho Cucamonga businesses that use environmentally-sound practices and assist those that want to be more green. All businesses are encouraged to join this free program to receive its many benefits.
The City of Rancho Cucamonga launched its new Healthy RC Smoke-Free Recognition Program as part of the City’s overall Healthy RC initiative, which strives to encourage a healthy and sustainable lifestyle for those who live, work, and play in the community.
Seven public Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging stations were installed through the Healthy RC EV Charging Station Pilot Program. Grant funding helped to replace older outdated chargers.
The City of Rancho Cucamonga has been accepted into the Institute for Local Government's Beacon Award Recognition Program which recognizes cities and counties for their environmental achievements.
