Volunteers
Why volunteer? Everyone benefits when someone chooses to volunteer! Volunteers are essential to providing quality services to the residents of our community. Community members of all ages are encouraged to show pride and get involved in civic activities through volunteer work within the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
Volunteers reap benefits such as acquiring new skills, meeting new people, gaining valuable work experience, making professional contacts, building self-confidence and improving the quality of life in the community. Volunteers give the City the ability to strengthen existing programs and services as well as develop new ones.
Who volunteers? Community members 15 years of age and older are encouraged to volunteer in any number of programs, activities or events sponsored by the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
How do I become a volunteer? Anyone interested in volunteering for the City must first complete and submit an on-line City volunteer application. In addition, a signed Waiver of Liability form must be completed and received prior to application approval. To view current volunteer positions available, please click below:
Please be advised that if you are volunteering for a position that deals with children, transportation or money MUST be fingerprinted by the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department and Administrative Services and cleared with the Department of Justice BEFORE BEGINNING volunteer service (no cost to volunteer).
