George and Pauline Cherbak
George was born in 1901 and lived in the Rancho
Cucamonga area until a few years ago. He and Pauline
and the larger Cherbak family were involved in grove
ownership and maintenance. They were part of a Russian
community that developed in the foothills. George
supervised tunneling for water.
