Cable Television
The City Manager’s Office serves as
the Franchise Administrator for cable television franchise
agreements. There are two cable companies operating in Rancho Cucamonga: Charter Communications provides service to a majority of Rancho Cucamonga residents, and Time Warner Cable has recently taken over operations of Adelphia Cable. For questions about cable service area, please
contact the City Cable Administrator at (909) 477-2700, extension
2008 or 2011.
To contact your cable company regarding questions
or concerns about cable service, call Charter Communications at 1-(866) 499-8080 and Time Warner Cable, routine cable inquiries refer to TW Customer Care Team at 1-888-TW-CABLE / (888-892-2253) .
Note: Cable bills should be sent to the
cable provider, not City Hall.

Should you experience difficulty contacting
the cable company, or need assistance regarding a cable customer
service matter, please contact the City Manager’s Office
directly by calling (909) 477-2700, extension 2008 or 2011. Regulations governing cable television, wireless
facilities and satellite services are established and enforced
by the Federal Communications
Commission (FCC) located in Washington,
D.C. The Federal Communications Commission website, www.fcc.gov can provide you with more detailed information concerning
rate, competition and technical regulatory issues and the 1996
Telecommunications Act.
RCTV-3
RCTV-3 is a government access channel managed
by the City Manager’s
Office. RCTV-3 provides viewers with informational messages
concerning programs and events sponsored or co-sponsored by
the City of Rancho Cucamonga, local school districts, and other
government agencies. In addition to these community messages,
RCTV-3 also broadcasts the Rancho Cucamonga City Council meetings
live on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
The City Council meetings are later rebroadcast on the 2nd
and 4th Wednesday of each month at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
RCTV-3 provides public educational video programming regarding
various safety, environmental, recreational and government-related
issues as well.
