RCTV-3 Government Access Channel

RCTV-3 is a government access channel under the exclusive editorial control of the City of Rancho Cucamonga. Under terms of the franchise with our local video service providers, a channel is provided to the City to use for public information. Residents who are cable subscribers can access RCTV-3 on channel 3 for Charter Communications and Time Warner Cable and channel 31 for Verizon FIOS TV.

The City Manager’s Office oversees RCTV-3 which provides Rancho Cucamonga viewers with informational messages concerning programs and events sponsored and co-sponsored by the City of Rancho Cucamonga, local school districts, and other government agencies. Residents are encouraged to tune into this channel during emergencies for important information. In addition to these community messages, RCTV-3 also broadcasts the Rancho Cucamonga City Council meetings live on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. RCTV-3 provides educational video programming regarding various safety, environmental, recreational and government-related issues as well. Click here for the current RCTV-3 programming schedule.

Healthy RC Living 

Healthy RC Living is a hit on local television. A growing range of programs feature effective choices you can make for a healthier lifestyle and highlight in entertaining fashion how the City helps residents choose health. The programs can be viewed on RCTV-3 every day but Wednesday at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. You can also check them out online at www.HealthyRC.info. Take a hike to Etiwanda Falls (episode 6), discover a 50-year tradition of Rancho Cucamonga square dancing (episode 15), or learn how pure, reliable water gets to your tap (episode 12).

I.E. Explorer

The I.E. Explorer is a ground-breaking, new television series that highlights and showcases what Rancho Cucamonga and the Inland Empire have to offer local residents and tourists. Joel Greene, award-winning TV host and producer of national PBS series’ Curiosity Quest and Curiosity Quest Goes Green explains, “This new series will be so instrumental in bringing awareness to the treasures of the Inland Empire.  I’ve lived here most of my life and never knew just how many wonderful things we, as residents, have available right in our backyards!”
