Children's Computer Access

Children's Computer Access

Both the Archibald and Biane Libraries offer free iMac computer use for children. Children are welcome to challenge their developing minds with educational software such as Dora the Explorer and Dr. Seuss's ABC (20-minute time limit).

At the Archibald Library, there are 3 new computers near the children's information desk, with MS Office and limited Internet access.

  • Children's area computers are designated for children 12 and under. Children under age 11 must be supervised by a parent or caregiver over 14 years of age.

  • Children 13 years and older should use the Technology Center computers (or the Teen Scene computers at the Archibald Library).
