Trips & Tours

The City of Rancho Cucamonga Community Services Department provides a variety of trips and tours for all ages. Day trips and multi-day trips, sporting events and theatrical performances are planned all year long. Payment must accompany your reservation. The required amount of advanced notice for cancellations vary. Registrant is responsible for verifying the amount of time required to cancel a reservation to receive a refund (full or partial) less the non-refundable $10 application fee included in the initial fee.  In some instances a refund may only be given if an additional passenger can take your place. Day Trips

Newport Cruise of Lights
Start with dinner at Harborside Restaurant followed y a boat tour to see a dazzling array of holiday lights from homes along the waterways and islands in the Harbour.  Trip includes transportation, boat tour and dinner.  Departs 2:30 pm; returns 10:30pm.

San Antonio Winery  Griffith Observatory
Enjoy dinner at the famous San Antonio Winery's Maddalena Restaurant.  After dinner, peruse the gift shop and do some wine tasting followed by a self guided tour of the Griffith Observatory and Planetarium.  Trip includes transportation and dinner, with free admission to the Observatory.

Lincoln Memorial Shrine and Edward Dean Museum
Visit the Lincoln Memorial Shrine in Redlands, the only institution in the west that focuses on Lincoln and the Civil War.  Then, travel to the beautiful Edward Dean Museum and Gardens in Cherry Valley, where you'll enjoy lunch at Joe's Greensleeve's.  Trip includes lunch, transportation and admission to the Memorial.

Palm Springs Living Desert Museum
Our personal tram tour guide will escort us through the 1,200 acres of zoo and gardens with stops at the District Commissioner's house and animal hospital.  After the tour, enjoy a boxed lunch followed by a stop at Hadley's orchard.  Trip includes transportation, admission, tram ride and lunch.

Riverside History
Tour includes Riverside's Downtown Mile Square, orange industry history and Henry Jekel designed buildings.  At Canyon Crest winery sample and bottle your own wine then enjoy lunch at Smokey Canyon BBQ.  Final stop will be at Castillo Isabell (aka Benedict Castle).  Trip includes transportation, step-on guide fee, tour fees and lunch.
