Trips & Tours

The City of Rancho Cucamonga Community Services Department provides a variety of trips and tours for all ages. Day trips and multi-day trips, sporting events and theatrical performances are planned all year long. Payment must accompany your reservation. The required amount of advanced notice for cancellations vary. Registrant is responsible for verifying the amount of time required to cancel a reservation to receive a refund (full or partial). In some instances a refund may only be given if an additional passenger can take your place.

All trips leave from and return to the Goldy S. Lewis Communaity Center, 11200 Base Line Road

Day Trips

Spend the day in San Pedro - June 21, 2012
You will start the day with lunch at Port's O' Call Restaurant with a choice of Marinated Sirloin Steak or Salmon.  After lunch visit the Point Fermin Lighthouse for a guided tour.  Built in 1874, the Point Fermin Lighthouse was the first navigational light into the San Pedro Bay.  The last stop will be at the Fort MacArthur Museum.  The museum is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the history of Fort MacArthur, a U.S. Army post, which guarded the Los Angeles harbor from 1914 to 1974.  Trip includes transportation, lunch and two tours.  View flyer for more information

U.S.S. Midway Aircraft San Diego Carrier Museum
Spend the day aboard the U.S.S. Midway Aircraft and Carrier Museum. Arrive at 10:30 am. Self-guided, audio tour of the historic Naval Ship. The Midway was the longest serving carrier in the U.S. Navel history and the largest ship in the world for 10 years. Along with your admission, lunch is included on board at the Fantail Cafe'. There will be time for browsing in the gift shop befoe we head off for Seaport Village for the remainder of the day. Trip includes transportation, admission and lunch.
