Trips & Tours

The City of Rancho Cucamonga Community Services Department provides a variety of trips and tours for all ages. Day trips and multi-day trips, sporting events and theatrical performances are planned all year long. Payment must accompany your reservation. The required amount of advanced notice for cancellations vary. Registrant is responsible for verifying the amount of time required to cancel a reservation to receive a refund (full or partial) less the non-refundable $10 application fee included in the initial fee.  In some instances a refund may only be given if an additional passenger can take your place. Day Trips



Palm Springs Living Desert Museum
Our personal tram tour guide will escort us through the 1,200 acres of zoo and gardens with stops at the District Commissioner's house and animal hospital.  After the tour, enjoy a boxed lunch followed by a stop at Hadley's orchard.  Trip includes transportation, admission, tram ride and lunch.

Riverside History
Tour includes Riverside's Downtown Mile Square, orange industry history and Henry Jekel designed buildings.  At Canyon Crest winery sample and bottle your own wine then enjoy lunch at Smokey Canyon BBQ.  Final stop will be at Castillo Isabell (aka Benedict Castle).  Trip includes transportation, step-on guide fee, tour fees and lunch.

Reagan Library and "Amazing Automobiles"
Visit the "shining city on a hil" the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum.  The state-of-the-art museum takes you from Reagan's early years to his time spent as the 40th President of the United States.  Special exhibit "Amazing Automobiles" with lunch served at the Air Force One Pavilion.  Trip includes transportation, museum admission and lunch.

Carlsbad St. Faire
Travel to Carlsbad for the largest street faire in the nation!  Over 900 vendors come out for this twice a year event.  Everything from top sellers clothing, accessories, plants, household items, art and antiques, home décor, food and more.  Trip includes transportation.

Sunnylands at the Annenberg
Begin by enjoying lunch on your own in downtown Palm Springs followed by a guided tour of the Walter and Leonore Annenberg Estate.  Known as a venue for political meetings, President Obama and the President of the People's Republic of China recently met here.  This extraordinary retreat features art collections, original furniture pieces and unique architectural design.  Trip includes transportation, guided tour and admission.

Las Brisas

Taste of LA and Portos  Bakery
Lunch at HMS Bounty located along Wilshire Blvd.  One of the last true "Old Hollywood" Restaurants.  Then onto dessert at the famous Cuban Portos Bakery.  Our next stop is Galco's Soda Pop Shop, featured on Huell Howser's "California Gold", and the Cooking Network.  The next hidden treasure is a must to see, family owned since 1897.  The fantastic Italian Grocery Store, you can even create your own soda flavor and bottle yourself!  Trip includes transportation, lunch w/dessert and gratuity.

San Diego Trolley
