During the month of May we challenge residents of all ages to participate in the fun FREE activities offered at the RC Family Sports Center and local parks.  Take a look at our schedule of events!


Healthy RC Fitness Challenge
May 1st - May 31st
The City of Rancho Cucamonga and Anytime Fitness is challenging residents to a Fitness Challenge!

The Challenge Includes:
  • Fitness Assessment (BMI)
  • Nutrition and Workout Tips from Anytime Fitness
  • 1st and 2nd Place Prizes

In order to participate in the Healthy RC Fitness Challenge please complete the following:

1. Register for Challenge by calling:
    909-477-2760 ext. 2340 or ext. 2383
2. Set up a Fitness Assesment (BMI) May 1st-3rd
    To set up an appointment please call:

    BMI will be taken at Anytime Fitness -
    7890 Haven Ave #22, Rancho Cucamonga
 3. Login to Healthy RC Challenge Online Tool to 
    track your activity progress.
    Register for Healthy RC Fitness Challenge and
    virtually travel around the world to all major
    sporting events in May!

Mondays: May 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th

Drop In Soccer
Location: Adult Sports Complex
              8408 Rochester Ave
Time: 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. 

Tuesdays: May 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd
and 29th
Jazzercise
Location: RC Family Sports Center
              9059 San Bernardino Road
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

    Wednesdays: May 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th
Drop In Basketball
Location: RC Family Sports Center
              9059 San Bernardino Road
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Drop In Racquetball
Location: RC Family Sports Center
              9059 San Bernardino Road
Time: 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Thursdays: May 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st
Jazzercise
Location: RC Family Sports Center

Time: 5:25 p.m. - 6:25 p.m.

May 19th
Community Hike
Location: Etiwanda Preserve
Time: 8:00 a.m.
All Levels Welcome!
*Participants must RSVP 909-477-2760 ext. 2118 by Thursday, May 17th before 10:00 a.m.

Hike will begin at the large boulder at the entrance of the trail and will continue up to the water fall.  It is important that participants bring water to stay hydrated and to wear comfortable clothing and shoes!

Please note perspective individuals not registered before the deadline will not be allowed to continue with the group.
