By securing regional and state grant funding, the City of Rancho Cucamonga is making design and contrcution of the Pacfic Elelctri Trail possible. There are opportunities for residents and businesses to sponsor trail amenities such as benches, bike racks and trees through the Trail Enhancement Program. Sponsoring a trail enhancement feature is also an excellent way to remember a loved one, providing enjoyment for countless trail users now and in the future. Your contribution is tax deductible. In addition, the Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail Inland Empire are a community-based organization that was formed to promote, support, and enhance the Pacific Electric Trail. Each year the Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail host the Cucamonga Challenge, a bicycle ride and 5k/10k run/walk event that raises funds to directly support the Pacific Electric Trail.
