Park & Recreation Commissioners |  | Janet Ryerson Chair Appointed as a Commissioner in January of 2009, Janet has lived in Rancho Cucamonga since 1987. Her career as an independent consultant has included specialization in business application software development and providing financial management services. While earning a degree in gerontology at Chaffey Community College, Janet became involved with the City's Senior Center serving as a Medicare insurance counselor. This volunteer work led to service on the Senior Advisory Committee from 2003 through 2007. In her spare time, Janet is an avid golfer, hiker and advocate of outdoor activities. | |  | Kelly Matheny Vice Chair Appointed by the City Council, Kelly recently received her Masters Degree in Education and California Teaching Credential in Physical Education from the University of Phoenix. In addition, she has an her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of La Verne. Kelly is an avid softball player and sports enthusiast. | | | | | Michele Jacks Commissioner Michele is a “home grown” resident of Rancho Cucamonga . She is proud of her Rancho roots and of her 30+ years of residing in this great city. Michele is currently in her 12th year as a Teacher within the Etiwanda School District and has taken many leadership roles in the District throughout her tenure. She is supported by her terrific husband, Neil and her parents, Vince and Maureen. She also enjoys coaching soccer and supporting her three daughters in all of their sports and extra-curricular activities. In addition, Michele is on three women’s adult soccer leagues and thrives on the camaraderie and sportsmanship that her teams offer. Michele’s priorities center on raising her family, creating and maintaining her long-lasting relationships with friends and colleagues, and continuing to support the wonderful community of Rancho Cucamonga. | | |  | Patricia Morris Commissioner Patricia has lived in the City for over 32 years, is a retired nurse and specializes in Equestrian Therapy for the mentally and physically challenged. Patricia established the Rising Stars Foundation which raises funds for the Rising Stars of Equestrian Therapy, Festival of Arts and Star Performers. In addition to her nursing credentials, Patricia has a professional theater background. She owns and operates Exclusive Emages, a trophy and awards business and is a member and past president of the Alta Loma Riding Club. | | | | Bill Pallotto Commissioner Bill is one of the newest additions to the Commission, but is not new in the community. Bill and his family have resided in Rancho Cucamonga for many years and Bill can be seen enjoying the local trails and parks. Bill has a background as a youth sports volunteer and has been employed for some time in the Parks/Community Services field. | |
