Trang Q. Huynh, P.E., has more than thirty years of experience in engineering, code enforcement, building code regulations, construction technology and administration of building department's activities. He has worked in many communities within California and has served in various capacities such as: Plan Check Engineer for the City of San Diego, Senior Engineer for the County of San Diego, and Building Official for the cities of Manhattan Beach and San Clemente and now the Building and Safety Director for the City of Rancho Cucamonga.

Mr. Huynh is a California Registered Civil Engineer, a Certified Building Official by the International Code Council (ICC), a California Certified Green Building Professional (CGBP). He has a Masters degree in Business Administration and a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University. He also obtained the Senior Executive in Government Certificate from the University of Colorado. In the past, he has served on a national code development committee and he was also the past president of the Foothill Chapter and the Orange Empire chapter of ICC. Mr. Huynh is a full member of the national organization of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

In 2009, Trang was awarded by the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce as the "Business Best Friend Award" and in 2011, he received an award from the the American Society of Civil Engineers of San Bernardino/Riverside regions as "Civil Engineer of the Year".
