Veterinary ServicesAnimal Care & ServicesBuilding a community in which every adoptable pet finds a home.

The Veterinary Services division watches over the health of all the animals in the Center.  This includes incoming and outgoing physical exams, administering vaccinations and internal/external parasite prevention, identifying any diseases or medical issues needing treatment, providing the necessary medications or treatments, and performing all surgical services for our pets.

The team consists of one veterinarian, 3 veterinary technicians, and 3 veterinary assistants.  In addition to the multitude of basic services provided, this team also performs special surgeries and medical rehabilitation for pets that could not otherwise be adopted.  Most shelters do not go to this level of medical care and we are fortunate enough to have to ability to do what we can for the animals.
