Thank you for volunteering at our Animal Center! The time and energy contributed by you and other volunteers will continue to help us make progress towards building a community where every adoptable pet finds a home.  

Be sure to check the Calendar of Events so you can participate in the fun!  When you are at the Center, be sure to check out the Volunteer News Board for posts about upcoming outreach events.  This board will have the date, time, and location site of the event, as well as sign up sheets for those who wish to participate. We always need volunteers to help out at all of our outreach events.  



Make sure you are signing in/out at the Volunteer Kiosk so that your volunteer hours are recorded correctly.  This kiosk automatically enters your information into Volgistics (a web based volunteer tracking program). The program can be accessed from any computer, which means volunteers can access the program from home to fill out an application, check volunteer opportunities, the number of hours worked, etc.

We have several Volunteer Opportunities available: Animal Socializer, Caretaker, Community Outreach Events, Dog Walker, Photography, Groomer, Foster Care, and an animal handler for our Monday Adopt-A-Pet segment on Fox 11 news, Transporter, and Veterinary Services. For all the details or required training classes, please speak with the Volunteer Coordinator.
