Telecommunications

In addition to managing the city's Purchasing Division, the Purchasing Manager is also responsible for all voice telecommunications. There are currently twenty locations that are connected via T-1 circuits to a centralized PBX system. To date there are approximately one-thousand City, Fire District, and Police Department employees that the Purchasing Division provides service to. The City of Rancho Cucamonga is a very busy agency. In one year, the City will receive an estimated one-million calls!
